The 60110700 – Uzbek Language and Literature educational program is aimed at training highly qualified teaching personnel in the fields of native language and literature for general secondary, secondary specialized, and professional educational institutions. Education in this program is carried out in full-time and evening formats, and the standard duration of the bachelor’s degree program in the full-time mode is 4 years. In the course of study, students acquire in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the fundamentals of linguistics, modern Uzbek literary language, history of the Uzbek language, dialectology, speech culture and the art of oratory, fundamentals of literary studies, history of Uzbek literature, world literature, folklore studies, as well as methods of teaching native language and literature.
