The bachelor’s degree programme 60111200 – “Physical Culture” is implemented in full-time and part-time modes, with a standard duration of three years, and is aimed at training pedagogical personnel who possess modern knowledge, skills, and competencies in the field of physical education and sport; graduates are qualified to work as physical education teachers in general secondary schools, as instructors of physical education and specialized subjects in secondary specialized and vocational education institutions, as club leaders in extracurricular education, as physical education instructors in preschool institutions, as methodologists in ministries and agencies, as specialists in local self-government bodies, as well as in the administration of educational institutions; the curriculum includes courses in the theory and methodology of physical culture, gymnastics, sports games, athletics, national and outdoor games, sports hygiene, medical and physiological foundations of sport, inclusive education, and media literacy, while qualification internships (introductory, pedagogical, and pre-graduation) ensure the consolidation of theoretical knowledge and the formation of professional skills, and upon completion graduates are awarded the qualification “Physical Education Teacher.”
