The 60530500 — Physics and Astronomy bachelor’s degree programme is aimed at training qualified pedagogical staff and specialists in the fields of physics and astronomy for general secondary, secondary specialized and vocational education institutions, as well as for the higher education system. Within this programme, students acquire fundamental and applied knowledge of classical and modern physics, the fundamentals of astronomy, mechanics, molecular physics and thermodynamics, electric and magnetic phenomena, optics, atomic and nuclear physics, as well as methods of teaching physics.
