The master’s specialty 70110501 – “Fine Arts” is implemented in a full-time mode with a standard duration of two years and is aimed at training highly qualified specialists who possess in-depth theoretical knowledge, creative skills, and research competencies in the field of fine arts, and who are capable of conducting pedagogical and scientific activities in higher and vocational education institutions; graduates are qualified to teach specialized subjects in higher education, retraining and professional development centers, vocational education, general secondary and preschool institutions, to conduct scientific research in the Academy of Sciences and sectoral research institutes and centers, and to work in departments for monitoring the quality of education; the curriculum includes courses in research methodology, methodology of teaching specialized subjects in higher education, academic painting, composition in fine arts, and reforms in the education system within the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan, while qualification and research internships ensure the consolidation of theoretical knowledge, and the preparation and defense of a master’s thesis constitute the final outcome of the programme.
