


The Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute has been recognised in an international ranking.
The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, an international assessment system, acknowledges universities and institutes worldwide for their systematic reforms aimed at ensuring sustainability, advancing green campus development, improving environmental management, and enhancing energy efficiency. This year’s ranking, based on an online evaluation against six criteria —setting and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water resource usage, transportation, and education and research — has been officially published. Conducted by UI, this prestigious global ranking serves as an important platform that provides an in-depth analysis of higher education institutions’ strategic approaches and practical initiatives in ecological sustainability, modern green infrastructure, and environmental governance.
The Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute achieved a noteworthy result in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, one of the most authoritative global assessments in the field of environmental sustainability and green campus development. According to the published results, the Institute ranked 690th among higher education institutions worldwide (18th place across Uzbekistan) and was recognised as a sustainably developing institution.
In the assessment, the Institute achieved the following indicators:

⚡️ Energy and Climate Change (EC): 1575
🚮 Waste Management (WS): 725
💧 Water Use (WR): 712.5
🚍 Transportation (TR): 1512.5
