At the modern City Farm, established through the collaboration of Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute and Greenic LLC, innovative projects in biology, agriculture, and agrotechnology are being implemented consistently and systematically. This project is aimed at ensuring the integration of education, science, and production. Today, work at the City Farm is progressing rapidly, achieving effective results based on scientific and practical experiments.
Key Areas of Operation:
Microgreen Cultivation: New and promising types of microgreens are being grown under city farm conditions, distinguished by their high nutritional value and richness in vitamins and minerals. Currently, scientific research is underway to develop and improve biologically active nutritional supplements based on these products. Processes are established using modern agrotechnological equipment and innovative approaches, with special attention paid to product quality and safety indicators.
Ornamental Plant Breeding: Research is being conducted on the propagation of new rose varieties brought from the People's Republic of China, adapting them to local soil and climatic conditions, and creating stable varieties through selection. This direction is expected to serve in providing the domestic market with high-quality seedlings and increasing export potential.
Mushroom Cultivation: Advanced technology for propagating oyster mushrooms based on mycelium has been introduced at the city farm, establishing a system for obtaining stable and high-quality harvests throughout the year. These experiments enable food security, rational use of resources, and the cultivation of competitive products that meet market demands.
An Educational Hub for Future Specialists
Experienced professors, teachers, and students of the institute are actively participating in these processes. Students harmonize their theoretical knowledge with practice, getting closely acquainted with modern agrotechnology's, innovative production processes, and startup projects. This creates a foundation for strengthening their professional competencies, increasing interest in research activities, and forming them into qualified and competitive specialists in the future.
Overall, the BuxDPI City Farm is becoming a leading experimental platform in the region for implementing agrotechnological innovations, expanding scientific-practical experiments, and strengthening the integral link between education and production.
