On March 5th, a significant workshop was held at Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, aimed at inspiring and equipping final-year female students with essential entrepreneurship skills. This event, organized under the ERASMUS+ Programme, Key Action 2, was part of the EMPOWER project (Project Number: 101129076), dedicated to enhancing entrepreneurship skills among women to promote gender equality and employability in Uzbekistan.
We were honored to welcome esteemed participants from Germany, whose insights and contributions enriched our discussions. The EMPOWER project is not just a program; it represents a movement towards creating a more equitable society where women have the opportunity to thrive.
During the workshop, we explored vital topics such as skill development, access to resources, and the importance of a supportive ecosystem for women entrepreneurs. The session featured engaging presentations from experts, including:
• Vivien Werner from Technical University Dresden, who shared insights on "Cultivating Change: TUD University's Approach to Building SEN Mindsets."
• Val Racheeva, an entrepreneur and head of NGO Female Founder Space, who discussed "Developing Entrepreneurial Confidence: Navigating Fear, Failure, and Social Expectations."
The workshop fostered an environment of collaboration and learning, encouraging participants to share their experiences and ideas openly. Together, we are paving the way for future generations of women entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants, speakers, and organizers for making this event a success. Let’s continue to work together to empower women and create pathways to success!
