The Bukhara regional stage of the "Poetry Lovers" ("She’riyat shaydolari") contest is taking place at the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute

In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 1, 2026, No. PP-120 "On preparations for the broad celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan," as well as to increase the interest of student youth in literature and poetry, organize their meaningful leisure time, and support talented youth, the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute is hosting the Bukhara regional stage of the "Poetry Lovers" contest. The event is being held under the slogan: "As one Homeland, as one people, we create a new life and future."
This prestigious competition is being organized at a high level in the Activity Hall of the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute and is taking place in an atmosphere of inspiration and creativity.
Students from the Bukhara State University, the Bukhara State Technical University, the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, and the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute are participating, showcasing their talents and skills.
Participants are competing in the following categories:
Performance of works created in the Aruz (prosodic) poetic system.
Performance of poems created in the Barmoq (syllabic) poetic system.
Expressive and memorized performance of monologues.
Performance of poetic works on themes of gratitude, loyalty to the Motherland, and love for the people.
Today's contest unites hearts passionate about poetry and serves to elevate the spiritual maturity of the youth.
