19.10.2024

The State Emblem was approved by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 616-XII "On the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan," dated July 2, 1992.

The State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan features mountains, rivers, and wheat ears on the left side, while the right side depicts the graceful branches of the cotton plant. In the center, a blooming valley is illuminated by the golden rays of the sun. At the top of the emblem, an octagon is depicted as a symbol of the Republic’s independence, which contains a crescent moon and a star. In the center of the emblem is the symbol of happiness and freedom, represented by the mythical Humo bird with its wings spread. At the bottom, a ribbon resembling the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan bears the inscription "O'zbekiston."

In the colored version of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan: the Humo bird and rivers are silver; the sun, ears of wheat, cotton branches, and the inscription "O'zbekiston" are gold; the cotton branches and leaves, mountains, and valley are green; the cotton on the branches is white; the ribbon reflects the three colors of the State Flag of Uzbekistan; the octagon is sky blue, bordered with golden embroidery; the crescent and stars are depicted in white.
