BUKHARA STATE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENT POLICY

    1. General Provisions

This Policy establishes the principles and approach of Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute (hereinafter – the Institute) to integrating sustainability considerations into its investment decisions. The Institute recognizes that investments in infrastructure, research, and development projects have long-term environmental, social, and economic impacts

    2. Policy Objectives

The objectives of this Policy are to:

  • ensure that investments contribute to sustainable development goals;
  • prioritize environmentally and socially responsible investments;
  • support innovation in renewable energy, environmental protection, and public health;
  • minimize negative environmental and social impacts of investment activities;
  • enhance institutional responsibility and transparency in investment decisions.

    3. Scope of Investments

This Policy applies to:

  • capital investments (buildings, laboratories, equipment);
  • research and innovation projects;
  • externally funded projects and grants;
  • partnerships with national and international organizations;
  • infrastructure modernization and development programs.

    4. Core Principles

The Institute follows these principles in investment decisions:

  • Sustainability – investments must support long-term environmental and social benefits;

To implement this Policy:

  • responsible units ensure alignment with institutional priorities;

    9. Final Provisions

This Policy shall enter into force upon approval by the Rector and shall apply to all structural units of the Institute.
