Foreign students are becoming acquainted with the rich historical and cultural heritage of Bukhara

👍 The international summer school on the theme “Uzbekistan Miniature Art”, organized at the initiative of the professors and teachers of the Department of Music and Fine Arts of Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, continues its work on the basis of meaningful programmes.

🔘 The main goal of the summer school is to provide foreign students with an in-depth study of the history, stages of development, artistic features and practical performance techniques of miniature art — one of the unique branches of Uzbek national fine art. Within the framework of the programme, in order to meaningfully organize the extracurricular time of the students of Kazan Federal University of the Russian Federation, an excursion to one of the priceless historical monuments of Bukhara — the Ark Fortress — was arranged, accompanied by N.I. Ibatova, associate professor of the Department of Music and Fine Arts.

✔️ During the excursion, the participants became closely acquainted with the centuries-old history of the Ark Fortress, its architectural design, its political and administrative significance during the era of the Emirate of Bukhara, and the rare historical exhibits preserved in the museum. This visit further intensified the foreign students' interest in the rich historical and cultural heritage, national art and architectural traditions of Uzbekistan. The students particularly noted that the unique historical atmosphere of Bukhara, the hospitality of our people and the rich cultural heritage left an unforgettable impression on them. Within the framework of the summer school, spiritual and educational events, master classes, creative meetings and excursions to historical and cultural sites are also planned for the future, and such initiatives serve to further strengthen international scientific and cultural cooperation.
